Oklahoma State University System Parking & Transit
PTS Announces New Staff Parking Lots and OPTIONS

Stillwater, Okla. – With construction occurring virtually everywhere on the Oklahoma State University campus this fall, the Department of Parking and Transit Services has created some new alternatives for Faculty and Staff that park on campus. There are TWO new Staff designated parking lots – one, Lot 32, located at University and Hester in the parking lot constructed last fall by the Alumni Association and the second, Lot 49, immediately north of the University Health Center and Iba Hall. If you choose to park in the University and Hester lot, please be aware that some of the parking spaces are reserved.

Besides these two new parking lots, keep in mind that you have OPTIONS, Oklahoma State’s program for alternative transportation and parking choices. For those staff members that work within the academic core of the campus, take advantage of a 50% savings on parking through the “Park and Ride” permit for Overflow lots. Or how about leaving the driving to someone else and ride THE BUS Community Transit System which is free to employees. Load your bike on the front of a bus and get some exercise as well.

Carpooling can save gas and your carpool gets a reserved parking space. If you are looking for people to carpool with go to our new and free “GreenRide” on-line carpool matching program at OSU Carpool Matching. Parking permits for carpool is reduced significantly depending on the number of participants that you have in the carpool.
